Responsible for delivering training to all company employees. Develop, update and deliver new and existing material to increase the learning of all employees. Provide ongoing recommendations for program enhancements.
Deliver training to all company employees including new hire orientation, job specific training, general training and ongoing training for all employees.
Clearly communicate the expectations of each position, Bank policies and procedures, and service excellence standards.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
Engage class audience to create an interactive and positive learning environment.
Develop and prepare training material to support new and existing classes.
Review daily performance of trainees to ensure accuracy, and compliance to policies and procedures.
Provide feedback and coaching to trainees by discussing strengths as well as opportunities to improve performance.
Make recommendations to management regarding areas for improvement for the training programs based on observations and classroom feedback.
Assess the trainees’ readiness and make recommendations to Training and Human Resources management regarding performance and progress.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of policies, procedures, products and services throughout the organization.
Maintain an understanding of HarborOne’s mission/objectives and communicate them to employees.
Remain up to date on system changes as well as regulatory information and updates.
Maintain an excellent understanding of all applicable regulations and laws relating to day to day duties including but not limited to; Bank Secrecy Act, , Privacy, Fair Lending and Regulation E.
Develop and maintain an understanding of all loan products and procedures related to consumers and businesses.
Develop job aids and quick guides to assist in the learning process for trainees.
Develop and update exercises, case studies, and assessments that will enhance the training programs and demonstrate the knowledge level of trainees.
Reprioritize work and manage time efficiently to meet the demand of the department.
Review self and others work within the department to ensure quality, accuracy, and thoroughness.
Identify and research training issues. Initiate and develop appropriate solutions utilizing internal resources, i.e.: manuals, subject matter experts, resource library, peers, etc.
Develop training agenda and outline for each training program. Coordinate guest speakers when necessary and provide feedback to management on the effectiveness of speakers.
Update and maintain training records of all participants in corporate training programs.
Handle all activities within the guidelines of confidentiality and professionalism and within the Bank and departments service excellence standards.
Maintain flexibility to the training schedule which may include working evenings or Saturdays.
Meet monthly performance goals.
Regularly attend staff meetings. Other training and clerical duties as needed.
Make recommendations to supervisor and manager regarding branch placement based on training performance.
Fill in at Brockton High School Training Branch when needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years’ recent experience providing ongoing technical, sales, and/or service training and development to all levels of employees. Previous banking experience preferred. Qualified candidate must demonstrate a passion for training and development with the ability to engage and connect with trainees in an interactive classroom setting. A proven performance record of consistency including a high level of accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures. Proven track record of maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must possess organizational and time management skills with the ability to reprioritize multiple tasks to meet the needs of the department. Strong attention to detail with the ability to monitor own work to ensure quality, accuracy, and thoroughness.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility. Excellent personal computer skills including an advanced understanding of Microsoft Word and Insight. Maintain a basic understanding of Excel, PowerPoint and other department systems as needed.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
