Under the direction of the Project Officer, coordinates, implements, executes, controls and completes specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Lead project teams responsible for design, testing, planning, and implementation of complex projects that typically affect many users and/or customers. Works closely with project sponsors and stakeholders to ensure desired end-results.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years’ direct recent project management experience working on information technology or business project teams obtaining customer requirements and other analysis activities. Previous experience in Banking is preferred. PMP certification or equivalent practical project management experience.
Excellent organization skills with high attention to detail while working on multiple projects simultaneously. Prior experience managing projects of small to medium scope and complexity. Must have knowledge of project management techniques and tools. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels in the organization. Demonstrated aptitude for effective leadership of project teams. Customer focused mindset.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Knowledgeable with project management software including Microsoft Project.
