  • Overview

    This position will assist the bank in meeting its goals for deposit, loan and revenue growth of new high net worth clients and commercial relationships.  This position will support multiple Corporate Banking Relationship Managers with loan processing, deposit and cash management account opening, processing, and/or account maintenance requests for a portfolio of SME and high net worth customers.  Supports the Relationship Managers and Professional Bankers as they work with local Centers of Influence, business prospects, community leaders and professionals to build a strong book of business and acquire new relationships for the bank.  This candidate will work closely with business partners to identify business opportunities and make referrals across business lines, as applicable.  This position requires a highly visible profile and referral network.


    • Responsibility to deepen, retain and improve the profitability of commercial client relationships.
    • Assist the RM’s and PM’s in assessing client’s financial needs in order to formulate effective solutions for new business needs and/or problem resolution.
    • Fosters strong teaming and partnership with colleagues to nurture relationships and uncover additional sales opportunities for increased business. Deliver personalized concierge level customer service
    • Provides banking procedure expertise and demonstrates extensive, in-depth knowledge of HarborOne Bank’s commercial products, services and policies.
    • Drives an unparalleled customer experience for clients and prospects. Ensures a “best in class” delivery with the highest quality of engagement.  Adheres to the Customer Experience guidelines.
    • Attends Bank, COI and customer marketing and networking events.  Supports marketing campaigns for growth and retention strategies.
    • Assist Relationship Mangers and Portfolio Managers in portfolio management responsibilities including the request, collection and preparation of credit packages for new opportunities and/or renewals/modifications.
    • Support Commercial RM’s & Professional Banker in the attainment of annual sales goals while maintaining exceptional customer service.
    • Increase new high net worth consumer and business households, and maximize the profitability of these segments through cross-selling of other products and services.
    • Collect customer feedback and make process change recommendations to the EVP Commercial Lending.
    • Work with the Cash Management Officer for Commercial Clients.
    • Displays a high level of professionalism, dresses in business like fashion, and adheres to the bank’s expectations regarding personal and professional ethics and integrity.
    • Maintains a flexible work week to meet customer needs. May be required to work weekends or night shifts as needed.
    • Responsible for primary job functions and other tasks that may be required from time to time by management.


    COMPLIANCE: Maintain an excellent understanding of applicable regulations and laws related to deposit account opening and lending interactions including but not limited to; Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy; and Fair Lending. Maintain and up to date understanding of Bank policies and procedures as they relate to Compliance.




    At least 3 years’ experience performing administrative functions in a financial sales environment.  Prior direct experience supporting Commercial Lenders preferred.  Superior level of customer service, satisfaction and engagement skills required.  Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and other bank personnel across functional lines.  Maintain proficient technical skills and computer knowledge.  Thorough understanding of HarborOne’s products and services or ability to learn.  A strong sales-oriented personality is a must along with the ability to motivate others and work successfully in a team atmosphere.  This position requires a flexible work schedule to participate in community activities/organizations, and maintain a highly visible profile through participation in business, social, and networking events.
