  • Overview

    This role will support the Commercial Credit Risk Department in the areas of compliance and reporting. This position is responsible for administrative tasks relating to Compliance and reporting under the direction of the Commercial Compliance and reporting Officer.



    Maintain accurate spreadsheets of any ongoing information requiring periodic reporting and be familiar with all resource systems.


    Audit and reconciliation of divisional reporting for Senior management and Board.


    Assist in the administration of the Credit Quest database in regards to process fixes and reporting.


    Work directly with Lenders to ensure all divisional systems are up to date. 


    Assist in the coordination of examinations for all commercial loan related inquiries and data requests.


    Assist in the regulatory compliance review and reporting for the Commercial Division; including Flood, HMDA, Flood, CRA, Reg 0, Reg B, etc.…


    Assist in the preparation of various departmental, loan committee and senior management reporting.


    Assist in the reporting needs of the commercial division including but not limited to monthly/quarterly/annual reports, board/executive/credit committee reports, weekly pipeline reports.


    Assist in the requirements associated with Vendor Management of Credit Administration. 


    Assist in SBA reporting, including the 1502 monthly reporting


    Assist in the automation of commercial reporting


    Responsive to all incoming inquiries and problem resolution, both internal and external, and respond or generate email correspondence. 


    Any commercial loan related task as needed and other duties that may be assigned



    Maintain an excellent understanding of applicable regulations and laws including but not limited to;

    Bank Secrecy Act; Privacy; and Fair Lending. Maintain an up to date understanding of bank policies and procedures as they relate to compliance.   Consistently complete appropriate compliance training.



    Education and/or Experience:

    At least one year of recent administrative experience in Banking or Finance related field.  Must have demonstrated knowledge of banking products, services, policies, procedures and regulations.  Excellent organizational and project management skills; sound judgment; initiative; and flexibility.  Strong attention to detail skills.  Can monitor own work to ensure quality, accuracy, and thoroughness. Ability to work individually and as part of a team. 


    Computer Skills

    Must have a proven record of excellent computer skills including expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel. Must be able to write and use formulas (i.e. V-Look ups), create pivot tables and use macros. Ability to organize and manipulate data from multiple electronic sources.  Must be comfortable managing an Access database.


    Language Skills:

    Ability to read and interpret loan & legal documents such as state and federal regulations, and procedure manuals.   Ability to write complex credit memorandum and correspondence.  Strong interpersonal communication and relational skills with the ability to speak before groups of employees at all levels of the organization.     


    Mathematical Skills:

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.


    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
